The Andrea Bocelli Foundation (ABF) was founded in 2011 to empower people and communities in situations of poverty, illiteracy, illness and social exclusion. Since 2017, the MSC Foundation has supported ABF’s work in Haiti, which makes a substantial contribution to healthcare.

The MSC Foundation supports the ABF Mobile Clinic in Haiti, which benefits over 8,000 people per year - including more than 2,500 children - in 5 of the poorest and most remote areas of the island.

In Haiti, 56% of the population suffer from malnutrition, 1 in 3 children dies from a curable disease before they’re 5 and the average life expectancy is only 55Thanks to the ABF Mobile Clinic - funded entirely by the MSC Foundation to the tune of $130,000 per year - regular health screening, medical consultations, treatments, vaccines, counselling and training are provided for 5 communities in some of the poorest and most remote areas of Haiti. Serving over 8,000 direct beneficiaries per year and indirectly benefiting a further 25,000, the Mobile Clinic has a strong life-changing impact.
